Welcome to The Willow Tree Nursery, A happy and creative start to learning, for children and their families
The Willow Tree is an exciting independent nursery school for 2 to 5 year olds which opened in September 2010. In a bright and pretty setting overlooking Wendell Park, the nursery draws its young pupils from surrounding Shepherd’s Bush, Chiswick and Acton.
The building adjoins a redbrick Victorian church and has its own large private garden backing onto the park.
Enthusiastic teaching in a nurturing and creative environment is key at The Willow Tree.
We encourage all children to be confident, make choices, question and explore, and ultimately become happy and independent individuals. It is our goal for every child to run into school at the beginning of the day without looking back.
Fun and learning go hand in hand in this happy, caring, creative nursery school that provides every child with those important stepping stones from home to school.

This week our son came home belting Queen's We Will Rock You (complete with the rhythmic Stomp Stomp Clap) whilst pretending he's the giant in Jack and the Beanstalk. Last week, he was a dinosaur in a police car. We look forward each week to be part of his pretend play world, something his teachers and friends at Willow Tree encourage. We couldn't be happier!
Willow Tree, Oh, Willow Tree, how we love thee.
Both of my children greatly enjoy the they spend at Willow Tree. They are happy, engaged and supported. At the weekends, my children ask hopefully if it is a "Willow Tree day." The Willow Tree teachers are wonderful, and the Willow Tree community is close-knit. Willow Tree, we sing your praises.

Choosing a nursery is a massive step for both parent and child. From the moment my child started at The Willow Tree, I felt safe in the knowledge that my baby was in a secure and caring environment. During his time there, he has grown so much in confidence and ability and I am in no doubt that he has been given a terrific foundation for starting school. Best of all, he simply loves being there.
What parents look for in a nursery is quite easy to describe but not so easy to deliver. We look for a place where our child will be happy, of course, and where they will learn, explore, express themselves, engage well with their classmates, and be able to rely on the loving attention and guidance of a teacher who loves their job. It is a lot to ask, but of course all parents want only the best. We are delighted and grateful to be able to say that Willow Tree provides all of this for our daughter Ann-Marie. We could not ask for more. Thank you.
