Fun and learning go hand in hand in this happy, caring, creative nursery school that provides every child with those important stepping stones from home to school.
Jane Ritchie - Early Years Consultant
The Willow Tree is such a creative, happy, inspiring, supportive place. Every week something new is happening; children's authors reading their books, firemen visiting in a proper fire engine, musicians playing, chefs
baking cakes, chicks hatching, the whole place transformed into a rainforest.
The lovely teachers are fully focused on the learning process but it's just handled in the most dynamic way. Ideally my daughter would spend her weekends there. Ideally, we all would.

This week our son came home belting Queen's We Will Rock You (complete with the rhythmic Stomp Stomp Clap) whilst pretending he's the giant in Jack and the Beanstalk. Last week, he was a dinosaur in a police car. We look forward each week to being part of his pretend play world, something his teachers and friends at Willow Tree encourage. We couldn't be happier!
When we moved into the area and started looking for a nursery for our daughter Leah, our requirements were somewhere friendly, fun with lots of space. We found these things and so much more with The Willow Tree.
Walking into The Willow Tree is such a lovely experience in its self, a big bright open space with lots of fun and imaginative activities and toys set up for the day.
Add to that the nursery teachers who are genuinely delighted to see the children, and provide a warm and welcoming start to the day.
The garden outside is wonderful - with plenty of space for the kids to run, climb and do gardening. I could not recommend The Willow Tree highly enough, I would not want to send my children anywhere else.

The Willow Tree Nursery is a very warm, calm, creative, nurturing environment. Having never been in a formal childcare setting, I was so pleased that my daughter settled so quickly into nursery and this is without a doubt thanks to the staff who have proved to be professional as well as kind, caring and incredibly supportive.
I'm always impressed by the activities on offer when we arrive in the morning, everything is extremely well organised with a wide variety of activities set up according to weekly themes - these themes appeal hugely to all of the children who are free to explore and make things their own and who could resist an indoor tent full of rainforest animals or water play with sea creatures first thing in the morning?
There is also a lovely outdoor space which backs onto Wendell Park, there are not many nurseries that have such a fantastic set-up, allowing children outdoor play and fresh air on a daily basis. There are so many positives at Willow Tree Nursery, I honestly couldn't hope for a better environment for my little girl.
She comes home from nursery full of smiles and stories, with her hands full of creative things; painted bracelets, marshmallow spiders, paper owls with button eyes. We can't thank you enough for making our little girl feel so welcome and making things so much fun - so thank you
When you walk into the Willow Tree classroom, you step into a space overflowing with playfulness, curiosity, expression and coziness. The Willow Tree is a gem – the type of nursery all parents strive to find. It’s safe and magical. It’s a school started and run by a small and talented group of teachers who are highly invested in each child and the school as a whole.
Our son has thrived at The Willow Tree – developing emotionally, physically, cognitively. Each morning, he hangs his coat on his peg and flies, eagerly through the school’s enchanted, arched door chirping “good morning!” And each afternoon he comes bounding out from school, full of stories about books and songs, exercises and activities from the day. He has never once described a day at The Willow Tree as anything short of “great!”
The Willow Tree, Oh, The Willow Tree, how we love thee.
Both of my children greatly enjoy the time they spend at Willow Tree. They are happy, engaged and supported. At the weekends, my children ask hopefully if it is a "Willow Tree day." The Willow Tree teachers are wonderful, and the Willow Tree community is close-knit. Willow Tree, we sing your praises.

I can't recommend the Willow Tree Nursery highly enough! It is excellent, and my daughter loves it.

Choosing a nursery is a massive step for both parent and child. From the moment my child started at The Willow Tree, I felt safe in the knowledge that my baby was in a secure and caring environment. During his time there, he has grown so much in confidence and ability and I am in no doubt that he has been given a terrific foundation for starting school. Best of all, he simply loves being there.
The Willow Tree nursery provides a very caring and nurturing environment. Every day there are a number of different activities laid out for the children when they arrive and there is often a theme for the week, which the children love - particularly as it includes fantastic decorations in the nursery and dressing up. Archie adores his key teacher and really enjoys his time at nursery. As a parent there are lots of opportunities to see the activities they are doing and to chat to your child's key teacher. There are also parent mornings and of course the nativity play at Christmas which is absolutely brilliant!
What parents look for in a nursery is quite easy to describe but not so easy to deliver. We look for a place where our child will be happy, of course, and where they will learn, explore, express themselves, engage well with their classmates, and be able to rely on the loving attention and guidance of a teacher who loves their job. It is a lot to ask, but of course all parents want only the best. We are delighted and grateful to be able to say that Willow Tree provides all of this for our daughter Ann-Marie. We could not ask for more. Thank you.

We chose The Willow Tree Nursery for our two year old daughter because out of all the nurseries we had a look in the area nowhere was so well organised and clean.
Apart from that the teachers are very friendly and creative as every morning I take my daughter I see a new set of toys set up for the day.
Most importantly my daughter loves the nursery and looks forward for the next day to be there.

Our daughter has spent two extremely happy years in warm and friendly atmosphere of the willow tree. A lovely small enthusiastic and creative nursery with extremely dedicated teachers.
The Willow Tree Nursery is a wonderful creative, safe and imaginative environment that has enabled our daughter to flourish. We have felt welcome from day one and enjoy the fun, inclusive and friendly attitude of all the staff.

"I fell in love with The Willow Tree the second I walked through the door. The warm welcome I received matched the environment of the bright, spacious room that makes up the main area of the nursery and I knew immediately my daughter would love it too. Needless to say, she does. The staff members are second to none - friendly, kind, caring and with a genuine skill for promoting 'firm but fair' learning that brings out the best in the children. The variety of activities and topics covered is excellent and my daughter has enjoyed every second of bean planting, wormery building, bike maintenance, I could go on..! Suffice it to say, I can not recommend The Willow Tree Nursery highly enough."
The Willow tree nursery is the most welcoming, caring and wonderful place that we could have wished for, for our son. Miss Andrea and her team of lovely teachers go that extra mile to make sure your little one feels happy and secure. They are always doing interesting projects and our kitchen is full of amazing artwork! It is so relaxed and friendly that you just feel part of one big happy family we shall miss it so much, thank you.
