We are committed to transparency and encourage families to reach out with any questions regarding our fees. Our goal is to ensure that all families fully understand their options and our pricing structure.
Morning sessions run from 9:00am until 12:30pm.
Extended days run from 9:00am until 3:00pm, and children bring their own healthy packed lunch.
We encourage our two-year-olds to attend a minimum of three mornings or two extended days each week. We encourage all children to attend a minimum of five sessions from the term following their third birthday. An extended day counts as two sessions.
We subscribe to the government’s 2-, 3-, and 4-year-old funding schemes:
The 9- to 23-month-old working family entitlement (30 hours) applies to eligible working families when a child joins us during the term in which they turn two.
The two-year-old working family entitlement (30 hours) applies to eligible working families from the term after a child’s second birthday.
The three- and four-year-old universal entitlement (15 hours) applies to all children from the term after a child’s third birthday.
The three- and four-year-old extended entitlement (an additional 15 hours, totalling 30 hours) applies to eligible working families from the term after a child’s third birthday.
We are also registered to accept a range of childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare funding. Please speak to Miss Andrea for more details.
At The Willow Tree Nursery School, we offer government-funded hours as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 9:30am to 2:30pm
Friday: 9:30am to 12:30pm
All other hours are privately paid.
If a child attends the nursery full-time (Monday to Thursday, 9:00am until 3:00pm, and Fridays, 9:00am until 12:30pm) and is eligible for funding, they will receive up to a maximum of 23 funded hours per week.
Due to our opening hours and funded hours offer an eligible child cannot receive the full 30 hours of funding each week at our setting. The additional seven hours of funding can be used at another setting, such as another nursery or a childminder.
Please follow the link Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK to read more about the funding and support available. For the two-year-old working families’ funding (30 hours) and the three- and four-year-old extended entitlement (30 hours), you will need to apply online. If you are eligible, you will receive a reference number, which you will need to pass on to us so that we can apply for the funding for your child. You must reconfirm your details on the online system every three months to ensure that you remain eligible.
We follow the LBHF term dates as closely as possible and therefore have longer terms than many other private, term-time settings.
Early drop-offs are available from 8:30am daily at an additional cost of £5 per early drop-off.
Additional ad hoc sessions are available upon request, subject to availability.
Fees are as follows:
One additional morning: £50.00
One additional afternoon: £37.00
We have a limited number of fully funded places available. These places are exempt from both a registration fee and a deposit. If this is something you would like to explore, please email us to discuss availability and eligibility.

At our nursery school, the safety, wellbeing, and development of every child is our highest priority. We have a comprehensive set of policies and procedures in place to ensure we provide a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children, families, and staff. We encourage all parents and carers to take the time to read all of our policies and procedures, as they outline how our nursery operates and how we work in partnership with families. A selection of our key policies is included here.
Thanks so much, Andrea
